Progress Inspections, also known as Draw, Milestone and New Construction Inspections
Whether it is a Residential or a Commercial Project, most are financed and lending institutions are not always familiar with construction activities, this is where an experienced Inspector will come in.
Residential Draw Inspections
Suncoast has performed numerous Residential Draw Inspections, both for individuals and lending institutions. These inspections are primarily to verify the milestone payments to the primary contractor and that the work has been completed in a workmanlike manner, which is not necessarily the concern of the local building department. There are not any projects listed here and no photos shown because we do not post the names of Residential Clients and we have not photo documented these types of inspections in the past, however, Photo Documentation is never a problem for Suncoast to implement.
Commercial Draw Inspections
In a Commercial Draw Inspection, the first step is usually to review the construction documents and contract amount and make sure that there are reasonable funds to complete the project. Once this has been established and construction has commenced, the Inspector will review the onsite aspects of the project for each milestone payment, prior to the disbursement of funds.
